Recently Donald J. Trump was sworn into office to become the 45th president of the United States. The day after Donald J. Trump was sworn into office, democratic protesters filled the streets with violence and caused massive property damage in many cities across the United States. In my opinion, protesting after a president is elected is completely pointless as the only way someone different could become president is by something happening to Donald Trump and Mike Pence(VP).
Democratic protesters are babies in my opinion because if they don’t get their way they cry. I don’t know why they protest over something that isn’t gonna change. I’ve never seen a democratic protest that hasn’t destroyed parts of a city. Violence won’t change anything! I saw a video on Facebook of this small group of protesters burning American flags and this amazing FedEx driver decided to stop and stand up to the protesters and take the flags away from the group.
Have you ever seen a Republican protest? Everyone I have asked this question to have all answered, no. I’ve never heard of any Republican protest that’s destroyed buildings or caused so much violence. Republican people are proud of where they live, they don’t go out and burn flags. When Barack Obama was elected president the republican people didn’t act out like the democratic party did when President Trump was elected. The people on the republican party stayed at home and got ready for work the next day. They appreciate that they have a country that allows them to have freedom.
I think Donald Trump will be a great president, as he is for the people of the United States. He’s gonna make America great again #MAGA. In my opinion, he is what America needs. What he did to the 2nd Amendment, which is the right to keep and bear arms, is awesome. His plan for Farm Bill and Farm policy is amazing because my family farms and runs cattle for the American families. I’m not racist but his plan for immigration is a good plan because we, the American People, shouldn’t have to pay for illegal immigrants to live in the United State.
During the Presidential Debate, Secretary Clinton mentioned that there shouldn’t be a wall so that everyone could live a good life. I think that’s the worst idea that I’ve ever heard because of the illegal drugs that come across the border. The illegal drug and drug activities has increased to the point it is affecting our American citizens. The death rate of teens from over dose on drugs has sky rocketed. The drug rate has nearly doubled from 6.1 to 13.8 per 100,000 population. The rate for drug poisoning deaths involving opioid analgesics(pain killers) nearly quadrupled from 1.4 to 5.1 per 100,000, and Secretary Clinton wants to have open borders. Donald Trump is trying and will succeed in lowering the illegal drug activities and the increased death rate by building a wall and eliminating the right to allow the illegal immigrants to come to the United States.
President Trump has many ideas to make America great again. Some of his ideas include: Propose a Constitutional Amendment to impose term limits on all members of congress; Put a hiring freeze on all federal employees to reduce federal workforce through attrition(exempting military, public safety, and public health); announce the withdraw of TRANS-PACIFIC Partnership and will direct the Secretary of the Treasury to label China a currency manipulator.
Wiithin just a few days of being President, Donald Trump has withdrew the United States from the Trans Pacific Partnership which is a 12-nation trade deal he had heavily criticized as a candidate as not protecting American workers enough. He has reversed a planned cut on mortgage insurance for many first-time homebuyers and he has reinstated the so-called Mexico City policy, which bars federal money from going to foreign nonprofits which promote or perform abortions. These are just a few of President Trump’s accomplishments that he has made in 7 short days.
There are so many different opinions, likes and dislikes among the American people when President Donald Trump is concerned. As an American, I am gratful for a President that will stand up for my rights. In my opinion, the past eight years the well being of the American people have not been top proiroty.
